Can this type of medical training really make a difference?
Absolutely! The national average EMS response time is 7 minutes from the time 911 is activated until help arrives on the scene. Irreversible damage can occur if the brain is deprived of oxygen for 4 minutes. Your ability to act during a medical crisis can absolutely increase the chances of survival for a loved one.
How does this differ from CPR certification?
Consultations with Miguel distill the essential information from CPR and basic first aid certification training and customize it to the needs of your family. Miguel’s proprietary method is designed to be easily recalled during a crisis situation.
I have a home security system. Isn’t that sufficient?
Security systems and cameras provide a measure of protection but that equipment cannot protect a loved one should an intruder enter your residence. Knowing what to do and acting immediately buys essential time to ensure survivability.
What happens after the consultation?
In addition to a comprehensive report, Miguel will provide quarterly, personalized video updates with refresher information to ensure you and your family remain prepared and stay safe.
What ages can participate in the training?
Consultations are designed for a range of adults and teenagers 13 years old and up. Should you wish a consultation for younger children, a specialized, age-appropriate session can be arranged.
